How to replace the inner tie rod on 2000 Cadillac Eldorado?

In order to change the inner tie rod, take out the rack and pinion boot, and breather tube. Loose the inner tie rod assembly by turning the housing counter clockwise. ReInstall the inner tie rod and make sure that it swings freely on the inside housing and then stake. Lastly, reconnect the boot and breath tube.
