  A: Before servicing the Throttle Body disconnect the maf sensor electrical connector without damaging the maf sensor screen because any damage can cause airflow restriction with driveability problems. The maf sensor bolts and intake air duct need removal as one structural unit. The service technician needs to open the throttle valve for a full examination of Throttle Body bore and throttle valve plate while examining for deposits in both components.
