  A: To replace the Throttle Body assembly, relieve gas pressure from the fuel system first. Remove the iat sensor from the iat sensor, and maf sensor electrical connector from the maf sensor, and the air cleaner intake duct. Detach the pcv valve fresh air tube, cruise control cable from the accelerator controls cable bracket, and the accelerator cable from the same bracket. Use the Throttle Body lever to remove the cruise control cable along with the accelerator control cable, after which remove the iac valve electrical connector from the iac valve, and the tp sensor electrical connector from the tp sensor. Remove the teed and return lines from the retainer on the accelerator controls cable bracket and then take the transaxle shift cable clip from the bracket. Remove the Throttle Body from the water crossover and the nuts off accelerator controls cable bracket before you remove the bracket itself from the Throttle Body. For installation, install the new Throttle Body Gasket to the Throttle Body and secure the accelerator cable bracket to the Throttle Body with bolt tightness of 12 n.m (106 lb in), and then install the Throttle Body to the water crossover with bolt tightness of 12 n.m (106 lb in). Back the connectors for iac valve and tp sensor, reconnect them along with accelerator control cable, and cruise control cable back to the Throttle Body level. Let us reconnect the accelerator controls cable bracket, then the transaxle shift cable clip, and the fuel teed and return on to the retainer of the accelerator controls cable bracket. Re-join the maf sensor electrical plug and iat sensor electrical plug, then tighten the air cleaner intake duct clamp to the air cleaner intake air duct with a 4 n.m (35 lb in) torque. Install pcv valve fresh air tube, fuel injector sight shield to the engine, and tighten nut for fuel injector sight shield to 3 n.m (27 lb in). Lastly, reattach the negative Battery Cable, re-install the rear seat cushion, and carry out the tp sensor learn procedure and the iac valve learn procedure to make sure that it performs properly at idle.
