How to service the rear wheel bearing and hub on 2000 Cadillac Seville?

Start servicing the rear Wheel Bearing and hub by lifting and putting the vehicle in position for work. First take off the wheel and tire then get rid of the brake rotor. Plug off the abs sensor wire then loosen all four retaining bolts, and the brake shield. Move the hub and bearing unit from the installation location. You must prepare the Control Arm surface and bore space for the fresh hub and bearing unit. Mount the brake shield before you put the hub and bearing assembly on top of the Control Arm. Secure the new hub and bearing with four bolts by tightening them to 68 nm (50 ft. Lbs.). Attach the brakes first, join the abs sensor wire, and reinstall the wheel with tire after lowering the vehicle.
