How to service and repair the transmission pan on 2000 Chevrolet Camaro?

In order to service and repair the fluid pan, elevate and prop the vehicle. Take a drain pan beneath the transmission oil pan, loosen the oil pan bolts and give it a slight tap to loosen the pan. Wipe off the surfaces, replace the gasket and top up the transmission fluid to the correct level checking that there is no leakage.
