  A: Before working on the valve guide seal you need to position the engine at top dead center for the specific cylinder to stop the valve from entering inside. Start by freeing up the Spark Plug before preparing the Spark Plug socket area for cleaning. After removing the Spark Plug insert the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) into its port and block the valves with compressed air. After you take off the Rocker Arm install the valve spring compressor tool (J 38606) on the valve spring while applying pressure to compress it. Check valve spring health before replacing it when you take off valve locks along with valve cap and spring. Take out the parts that hold the spring seat and valve stem oil seal. To install the valve stem oil seal and spring seat you need to fit them into place with the appropriate driver tool until they settle over the valve guide boss. Apply grease to the valve locks as you press them into position using the valve spring compressor (J 38606) after setting up the valve spring and valve cap. Open the valve spring to confirm the locking mechanism rests in place. Install the Rocker Arm then reduce air pressure before you take out the Spark Plug port adapter and set the new Spark Plug in place.
