The rear side door window channel retainer replacement for an Impala starts with a partial removal of upper rear door frame appliqued parts. You will be able to see the rivets beneath the rear door window channel after pulling downward from the back of the channel. The first step is to unscrew the forward screw on the rear window channel retainer and afterward remove the retainer from the rear door. Following proper positioning of the rear window weather strip retainer push on the rear door window channel to reach the rivet holes for installation. After installing the weather strip retainer rivets you should reinstall the rear door frame applique at the end.
