    A: To change the connecting Rod Bearing, take off the Oil Pan, and set the connecting rod to be worked on at bottom dead center (BDC) by rotating the Crankshaft. Use the j 41507 (Connecting Rod Assembly Guide) to remove connecting rod cap bolts as well as the lower connecting Rod Bearing disassembly the cap from the relating rod making certain to keep those bearing with the assembly connecting rod and cap for reassembly. Check for binding while prying the connecting rod back and forth and adjusting the cap bolts if necessary. Measure connecting rod side clearance, install Oil Pan, and lastly check the oil pressure and leaks.
