  A: Begin Water Pump maintenance by unplugging the battery negative lead and taking out the cooling system liquid. Lift the vehicle after taking out its accessory Drive Belt. Discard the right engine side splash shield before loosening and removing 6 Water Pump bolts (1 and 2) to take out both Water Pump and o-ring. Also, remove the o-ring. Apply a new o-ring to the vehicle afterward install and fasten the Water Pump through the six bolts (1,2) with a torque of 11 nm (8 ft. Lbs.). Install the right side lower engine shield and place the vehicle on the ground before putting on the accessory Drive Belt. Attach the negative battery terminal then put approved engine coolant into the Radiator. Start the engine and examine the system for fluid leaks after completing all steps.
