  A: Start the Water Pump replacement by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable first followed by draining the cooling system. Lift the vehicle while removing the accessory Drive Belt before starting work. Separate the right side lower engine shield and remove 6 bolts that secure both the Water Pump and its housing (1, 2). Afterward detach the entire Water Pump mechanism. Also, remove the o-ring. Secure the new Water Pump onto the vehicle by fastening the 6 bolts (1, 2) and tightening them to 11 nm (8 ft. Lbs.). Install the right side lower engine splash shield and return to normal position using the service jacks. Place the accessory Drive Belt back onto its axle. Reattach the negative battery wire plus fill the Radiator with approved coolant afterward turn the engine on and search for fluid leaks.
