How to replace the Electric Cooling Fan Motor on 2001 Chevrolet Prizm?

Start the replacement of an electric cooling Fan Motor by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. First disconnect the wire and connector from the Fan Shroud before removing 5 cooling Fan Shroud to Radiator mounting bolts. Start by removing nuts from the fan of the defective Fan Motor before using 3 screws to remove the defective Fan Motor from the cooling fan assembly. The installation involves attaching the cooling Fan Motor to its assembly with three screws before fixing the cooling fan to the cooling Fan Motor by one nut. Reengage the wire and connector to the Fan Shroud before installing the cooling fan assembly onto the Radiator. Install the 5 cooling Fan Shroud mounting bolts while tightening them to 6 nm and reconnect the negative Battery Cable by tightening it to 15 nm.
