How to replace the front brake calipers on 2000 Chevrolet Suburban 1500?

Before the brake caliper replacement step you need to drain 2/3 of the brake fluid from the master cylinder. Lift the vehicle and after that take out tire and wheel unit. Push the caliper piston down into its housing space by applying force from a c-clamp tool. Detach the brake hose from the caliper at the inlet fitting by undoing the bolt. Afterward uninstall the caliper mounting bolts and take the caliper out. Inspect the caliper assembly. Place the caliper at its proper location first before you install its mounting bolts. Secure the caliper guide pin bolts with torque of 108 n.m (80 lb ft). Secure the brake hose to the caliper using the inlet fitting bolt and tighten it to 45 n.m (33 lb ft). Depress the brake pedal and replace the tire wheel set. Lower the car at the end after taking off all safety devices.
