How to replace the rear brake line (Jounce) on 2000 Chevrolet Suburban 1500?

Before working on the brake hose you must clean its fittings thoroughly and support the vehicle at an appropriate height. Disconnect the jounce hose from the brake pipe at the frame then use tools to remove its retaining clip to take the hose out of the bracket. First disconnect the jounce hose from both brake pipes at the junction block followed by removing the block mounting bolt and the jounce hose itself. Install the jounce hose directly to its proper position without twisting it before locking down the jounce hose axle bolt at 12 N.m (106 lb in). Install the brake pipes onto the jounce hose junction block with 25 N.m of torque while placing the jounce hose back into its bracket. Install the jounce hose while avoiding any twisting and attach it to the brake pipe near the frame. Nut the fitting tight to 25 N.m (18 lb ft) tension. End by draining the brake system before clearing the wheel support stands and letting the vehicle back down.
