How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch on 2000 Chevrolet Tracker?

You should drain the cooling system before working on the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch. After that, cut off the connector for the ECT sensor and take the sensor out of the coolant housing. When installing, put the ECT sensor onto the coolant housing and fasten the sensor with 15 N.m (11 lb ft) of torque. When you have finished attaching the ECT sensor electrical connector, add coolant to the cooling system.
