How to replace the left rear door striker on 2000 Chevrolet Tracker?

Before installing the left rear Door Striker you must mark the endgate lock striker position on the door jamb. The installation requires removing the 2 screws that secure the endgate lock striker before extracting the lock striker out from its position on the door jamb. Set the endgate lock striker onto the door jamb after which you should fasten it using the two screws. Set the vertical height of the striker so it matches perfectly with the middle of endgate lock. Adjust the lock striker by keeping it at a level position when you align it to side for obtaining a proper endgate panel alignment with the quarter panel.
