  A: Start the replacement by marking the front side Door Lock striker position on the door jamb for proper installation. You must remove two screws as well as the front side Door Lock striker which exists on the door jamb. Secure the new front side Door Lock striker to the door jamb through its 2 screws after correctly positioning it. Set the vertical measurement of the front side Door Lock striker to position its striker shaft at the middle of the front side Door Lock. Use necessary shims to create a 10.9-12.9 mm (0.43-0.5 in) distance between the Door Lock striker and front side door while simultaneously adjusting the Door Lock striker to Door Lock distance to 3.4-5.4 mm (0.13-0.21 in) through shim adjustment. You will complete the adjustment of Door Lock strikers by leveling the striker which lets you move it horizontally on the door jamb until the door lines up properly with the quarter panel for 2-door vehicles and with the rear door for 4-door models.
