  A: Service of the EGR Valve starts by elevating both wipers to their highest position and turning off engine power. Perform the following procedure by disconnecting both the negative Battery Cable and EGR Valve electrical connector. Separate the bolt retaining the pipe assembly from the EGR Valve while you should handle the pipe assembly with care. The service begins with EGR Valve retaining bolt removal and subsequent removal of the assembly together with the gasket. The first step for installation involves applying a new gasket onto the Intake Manifold before adding the EGR Valve. Reposition the bolts inside the EGR Valve before fastening the nuts to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Reinstall the pipe assembly to the EGR Valve by using the bolt before tightening the nuts to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Connect the EGR Valve electrical connector after which reconnect the negative Battery Cable. Proceed with lowering the wipers to their designated parked state.
