First detach the air pipe from the exhaust manifold adaptors while removing the nut from the air bracket stud. Begin by taking away the check valve/pipe assembly from the manifold and bracket stud followed by unscrewing the underlying 2 bolts securing the bottom side of the check valve. The check valve installation process requires first reattaching the 2 pipe screws through the pipe to the check valve followed by connecting the reactor pipe and check valve using a spring clamp while securing the pipe locknut to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Position the check valve/pipe assembly onto the bracket stud and manifold adaptors with its pipe set at proper torque on the adaptors. Fasten the bracket stud's locknut after installing it and apply torque according to the specification of 10 n.m or 89 lb in. To complete installation connect the vacuum hose to the check valve followed by the attachment of the Air Hose through the clamp before tightening the clamp.
