The engine should be rotated first for access and then the Ignition Control Module and coils need removal. Disband the shut-off valve from its secondary air injection (AIR) crossover pipe and vacuum line connection. First remove the air shut-off valve nut and following with the bolts which fasten the shut-off valve to the manifold pipe to extract the item. The installation requires users to place a fresh gasket between the manifold pipe and shut-off valve before tightening the valve to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). After installing the air shut-off valve nut users must tighten it to reach 10 n.m torque while using an 89 lb in torque wrench. Put the vacuum line and the air crossover pipe onto the shut-off valve before installing the Ignition Control Module while returning the engine back to its original position.
