  A: The procedure for replacing the air shut-off valve for bank 2 begins with switching off ignition then letting the engine cool down to keep from getting burned. Start by rotating the engine for servicing purposes before you remove ignition control module (ICM) and coils. Remove both connections of the secondary air injection pipe (AIR) and the vacuum pressure line emerging from the shut-off valve. Remove first the regulators air shut-off valve nut as well as its securing bolts from the manifold pipe and fully remove the shut-off valve. Place a new gasket on the piping end where the shut-off valve will join before applying the valve onto the manifold side and securing it to a torque of 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Secure the air shut-off valve nut by torquing it to 10 n.m with a maximum torque value of 89 lb in. Connect the vacuum line together with the air crossover pipe to the shut-off valve after which reinstall the icm before setting the engine back into position.
