How to Replace a Rear Brake Line on 2000 GMC Safari?

In order to replace the rear brake pipe firmly lift the vehicle and take off the brake pipe retainers if needed. Remove the brake pipe from the junction block then the Wheel Cylinder, then remove the brake pipe off the vehicle. When placing the new brake pipe, make sure that it will be at a 6mm (1/4 inch) clearance from parallel pipes. Install brake pipe into vehicle and loosely attach brake pipe nuts to junction block and Wheel Cylinder. Also, rugged up the brake pipe nuts to 17 nm (13 ft. Lbs) and then fitted the brake pipe retainers (as required). Finally, drive down, and bleed the brake system.
