Fit the new Shock Absorber onto its bracket while maintaining the bolts in the exact direction of removal to preserve the suspension clearance. Install the bolts first according to the service precautions notice and then mount new nuts and washers onto the bolts while tightening these fasteners to 62 nm (46 ft. Lbs.). Replace both the wheelhouse splash shield and wheel on the vehicle before lowering it down. Disposal of the Shock Absorber should be done per the specified regulations for Shock Absorber disposal.
