  A: The initial step to replace the Fuel Rail assembly is to locate the eight-digit identification number stamped on the left-hand rail because it provides service to cylinders 2, 4, and 6. The correct installation of fuel injector o-rings requires you to position the black one in the upper part while placing the brown one in the lower section because their materials differ though they have identical dimensions. You must cover the fittings along with the plugging of fuel system holes to keep contaminants out. The work starts with sailorueue the fuel system pressure and continue by removing the upper Intake Manifold together with the engine compartment fuel pipe retainer bolt.
