  A: The replacement process of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) inlet pipe starts with removing the EGR Valve followed by removing the EGR Valve outlet pipe. First detach the Exhaust Manifold EGR Valve adapter pipe mounting bolt before taking out the mounting bolt and stud from the EGR Valve adapter pipe bracket. The next step requires removal of the EGR Valve adapter pipe assembly. The first step of installation requires assembly of the EGR Valve adapter pipe while strictly observing the fastener guidelines in service precautions. The mounting bolt and stud should be installed onto the EGR Valve adapter pipe bracket while tightening them to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). The EGR Valve adapter pipe bolt requires installation onto the Exhaust Manifold before tighten it to 29 n.m (21 lb in). You should also reinstall both the EGR Valve outlet pipe together with the EGR Valve.
