How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2001 Buick LeSabre?

A Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor replacement starts with turning off the ignition then removing the fuel injector sight shield. The MAP sensor connects electrically to the PCV valve cover so disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor. Bend the locking tabs that secure the MAP sensor to the PCV valve cover until the MAP sensor clears its mounting position before pulling it directly out. Before installation check that both the MAP sensor receives the correct seal and remains undamaged. Install the MAP sensor to the PCV valve cover while making sure the locking tabs properly link up to maintain MAP sensor stability. Reconnect the electrical connector to the MAP sensor and put back the fuel injection sight shield.
