You need to start by taking off the rear compartment lid trim. Take off the electrical connectors (5 6) from the lid latch assembly then remove all bolts that secure the assembly. Take off the actuator cable from the latch and remove the lid latch assembly. Start your work by putting in the lid latch assembly and follow the guidelines noted in the Fastener Notice. Set the lid latch assembly in place using bolts and secure it by tightening them to 10.5 N.m (93 lb in). Refit the actuator cable onto the latch first and then reconnect (5, 6) electrical connectors to the lid latch assembly before putting back the rear compartment lid trim.
