  A: After removing the spark plugs and Rocker Arm assemblies you can start the Valve Stem Oil Seal service and replace both valve guide seal and valve spring. Place the engine in position when the piston in the service cylinder rests at top dead center to keep the valve from entering the chamber. Put the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) into the cylinder head then fill the chamber with compressed air as valves will stay closed. Position the valve spring compressor tool for valve compressing before taking off the valve keys and valve cap. Once released, remove the valve spring solely. Push the bottom of the seal upward to take out the valve guide seal. Use the valve seal installation tool (J 42863) to put the guide seal over the valve stem while the seal contacts the valve guide. Apply only light hand pressure to prevent damaging the guide seal. Insert the guide seal using the valve seal installation tool (J 42863) onto the valve guide. Next place the valve spring and valve cap using the valve spring compressor (J 38606). Rephrase this procedure for all valve guide seals. End the cylinder pressure and take out the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794). Then attach the Spark Plug and replace the valve Rocker Arm units.
