The Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) must be fitted into the cylinder head before compressed air should enter the cylinder to contain the valves. The valve spring compressor tool j 38606 lets you compress the spring before taking off the valve keys, valve cap, and valve spring. The bottom of the seal requires prying to get off the Valve Stem Oil Seal. To put the oil seal properly in place let it touch part of the valve guide while using hand pressure through the Valve Stem Oil Seal installer (J 42863) to prevent damage to the oil seal.
