How to replace the air temperature sensor in the HVAC module above the front floor air outlets on 2001 Cadillac Catera?

To remove the location of the Air Temperature Sensor, which is placed in the hvac module above the front floor air outlets will first remove the right-hand sound insulator and the front floor air outlet from the hvac module. Using a flat bladed tool, disconnect the electrical connector from the Air Temperature Sensor, then turn the temperature sensor 180 degrees and take it out of the hvac module; handle it with all due care. In the installation, then plug the new Air Temperature Sensor into the hvac module and turn 180 degrees and connect the electrical connector. Lastly check the r/h sound insulator, and reinstall the front floor air outlet.
