How to replace the wiper motor on 2001 Cadillac Catera?

In order to change the wiper motor, open the hood and take out the windshield wiper transmission. Disconnect the upper link of the crank arm of the motor and unclip the harness connector. Take off the crank arm nut and the bracket bolts of the wiper motor. Install the new motor, the reconnect harness and then reinstall the transmission.
