You should detach the reservoir from the hydraulic pump housing assembly to remove the 0-ring seal from the hydraulic pump housing assembly and discard the old seal. Install the new 0-ring seal on the reservoir by applying power steering fluid and follow it with assembly. You should integrate the reservoir assembly into the hydraulic pump housing assembly and lock it into position with retaining clips fitted to both components.
