Begin the power steering pressure hose replacement process by setting a drain pan under the car then disconnect the hose from the Power Steering Pump . The job starts by taking off the retaining clip from the engine block followed by vehicle elevation and support before you can remove the power steering gear heat shield. Detachment of the Cylinder Head's retaining bolt and plastic line retainer should proceed before removing the power steering gear hose and the vehicle hose. Begin power steering pressure hose installation by fixing it to the vehicle while paying attention to the fastener notice for correct torque settings. Then connect the hose to the power steering gear while applying torque up to 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). After that install the plastic line retainer and the heat shield. First install the retaining bolt to the Cylinder Head before tightening it to 50nm (37ft.lbs.) while following the installation with reattachment of the retaining clip to the engine block. Secure the power steering pressure hose at the Power Steering Pump by applying 27 nm torque at 20 ft. Lbs. Thread. Bleeding should happen on the power steering system followed by leak inspection.
