How to replace the Blower Motor Resistor Assembly (YG6) on 2001 Chevrolet Astro?

Begin replacing the Blower Motor Resistor assembly (YG6) by removing the air cleaner components first followed by windshield washers and Coolant Reservoir. Unplug all electrical connectors first then unscrew and take out the Blower Motor Resistor assembly screws to access its removal. Location the Blower Motor Resistor assembly where it belongs and secure it using 2 n.m (18 lb in) torque screw bolts. Reinstall the windshield wipers and cooling tank after you connect the power connections. End your work by setting the air filter in place.
