You must first separate the Brake Drum from the shoe assembly before you push down the cable-retaining fingers inside the backing plate to free the cable. Lift up the vehicle then detach the rear component from the vehicle. When installing the rear cable position it into the backing plate while we ensure all retaining fingers pass through completely. Install brake shoes with their drum assembly before linking the park brake cable to reach the equalizer. To conclude the process lower the vehicle while performing a braking adjustment on the park system.
