The installation process starts by loosening the equalizer before removing the rear cable from it. First detach the Brake Drum with its shoe assembly while squeezing the retaining fingers to release the cable from the backing plate. The rear cable separation begins by removing it from the vehicle. Attaching the new rear cable starts with inserting it into the backing plate while verifying that all retaining fingers fully secure themselves in place. Install brake shoes together with the drum assembly before connecting the park brake cable to the equalizer. Finish the process by readjusting the park brake system and let the vehicle drop down.
