  A: The replacement process for the Fuel Rail assembly requires use of the fuel line quick-connect separator (J 37088-A) to bleed pressure from the fuel system. Keep the working area clean while conducting the procedure and fully clean both the Fuel Rail assembly elements and their connection points. The Fuel Rail replacement process starts with disconnecting the fuel feed and return pipes from the tubes and continuing with the Fuel Injector coil wires followed by removing the vacuum line from the pressure regulator to the MAP Sensor electrical connector and vacuum switch's vacuum tubing from the pipe bundle. Start by removing the vacuum source from the Intake Manifold and the Fuel Injector electrical connectors while unfastening the Fuel Injector harness fasteners and then extract the Fuel Rail hold-down bolts.
