    A: Before Ignition Coil replacement start by detaching Spark Plug Wires from their positions on the coil assemblies. The 6 screws attaching the coil assemblies to the Ignition Control Module must be removed. Remove coils from the Ignition Control Module once the 6 attaching screws have been removed. Installation of new coils starts with their attachment to the Ignition Control Module with strict adherence to the fastener notice in service precautions. Fasten the 6 Ignition Coil attaching screws with 4.5 n.m (40 lb in) torque values. Reconnect the Spark Plug Wires after installation.
