First disconnect the tp sensor screws after which you can remove both the sensor and its seal from the system. The throttle valve must be set to normal closed idle position before installing the new Throttle Position Sensor along with its seal onto the Throttle Body assembly. The replacement of the sensor requires new tp sensor attaching screws while both tp sensor screws need tightening to 2 n.m (18 lb in). Conclusion of the repair entails putting back the Throttle Body and the air cleaner outlet resonator.
