How to replace the door lock cylinder on 2001 Chevrolet Corvette?

First remove the outside Door Handle together with the clip which supports the lock cylinder lever. You need to remove the lever from the lock cylinder's rear position before prying up on the clip that retains the cylinder. Position the lock cylinder which includes a gasket into the Door Handle before you tighten the retaining clip. First attach the lever to the lock cylinder with the rearward orientation while next install the clip to hold the lever in position before reinstalling the Door Handle.
