The regulator motor electrical connector requires removal and the front plug at the door's bottom requires extraction before noting the regulator position for rebuilding. Detach the nuts from all three stud locations on the regulator channels, motor studs and upper regulator channel studs to enable access for folding and removing the regulator through the door inner opening. To set up the new regulator position its motor in the forward direction and place the door inner panel studs through the door. After that insert the regulator into the door opening. Begin installing nuts to the motor studs then tighten them to 10 n.m (89 lb in) before putting the regulator channel studs through holes in the door panel. Secure all studs starting with upper forward then lower forward and continue with upper rearward and finally lower rearward. Use the regulator rose bud clip to fasten it to the door structure while tightening all regulator channel stud nuts to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Before installing the window and door adjustment, reconnect the window switch along with the electrical connector to the motor and extend the regulator to full up position. Reinstall plugs in the window clamp sight access holes while adding the top speaker screw followed by criss-cross tightening of all screws at 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). After checking the window fit install the access plugs into the bottom of the door.
