To remove the regulator properly through the door inner opening, first uninstall all nuts from the regulator lower channel studs and regulator motor studs and upper regulator channel studs before folding the regulator. The installation process requires you to adjust regulator jack screws to match previous settings when replacing the regulator then you must fold the unit before inserting it into the door with the motor pointing ahead. Pass the motor studs through the door inner panel before fastening nuts to them with a torque of 10 n.m (89 lb in).
