How to replace the Windshield Wiper Switch on 2001 Chevrolet Corvette?

Begin replacement of the windshield washer switch by first detaching the tilt wheel lever and driver knee bolster trim panel. Take off both steering column sections by separating them. Also remove their caps while disconnecting the electrical connector from the wiring harness. Use your fingers to turn the retaining clips free so you can slide the wiper/washer switch from its position in the steering column lock module. Insert the new switch into the steering module and hit it until the retaining clips lock into position afterward attach the electrical wiring to its connector. Secure the tilt wheel lever first then put back the upper Steering Column Cover. Insert the lower Steering Column Cover and install the driver knee bolster over it.
