How to replace the Wiper Switch on 2002 Chevrolet Corvette?

The wiper/washer switch replacement starts by taking off the tilt wheel lever and driver knee bolster trim panel. Unfasten the upper and lower steering column covers by hand and take off their components. Later disconnect the electrical connector from the wiring harness. Use both upper and lower retaining clips to ease the wiper/washer switch out of its position within the steering column lock module. Place the new wiper/washer switch into the steering column lock module until the upper and lower metal clips click into position before connecting the electrical wires to the cable. Secure the upper and lower steering column covers first and then place back the tilt wheel lever and driver knee bolster trim panel.
