  A: To replace the multifunction turn signal lever of the vehicle, then the upper and lower skins of the Steering Column, detach the wire harness straps from the Steering Column tilt head assembly and the column. Next, remove the wire harness assembly from the wire harness strap and unscrew the 2 pan head tapping screws to release the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly . During bending ensure there is electrical contact on the turn signal cancel cam assembly and then connect the multifunction Turn Signal Switch assembly to the Steering Column assembly. Mount the 2 pan head tapping screws and tighten them to 6 nm (53 inch lbs.). Route the wire harness assembly along the Steering Column jacket assembly, insert the harness wire assembly in wire harness strap , and install the new wire harness straps to the Steering Column assembly and the column. Lastly, replace the upper and lower Steering Column trim covers.
