Afterward, peel out the 2 rivets that secure the lock cylinder to the rear compartment lid, then take away the lock cylinder and gasket. To install, line up the lock cylinder shaft with the rear compartment lid latch, and then put the lock cylinder and gasket over the holes in the lid, pressing them in until they sit flushed. Affix the lock cylinder and gasket to the rear compartment lid using 2 rivets, and then put the rear compartment lid applique back in place.
