How to replace the rear side door hinge on 2001 Chevrolet Impala?

Replace the rear side door hinge by first closing the rear door during installation yet work on each hinge separately beginning with the faulty unit. Start the process by unlocking the front door to expose the rear door hinges. Use a grease pencil or suitable marker to identify rear door hinge positions on each mounting surface after cleaning them with a clean rag. Start by removing the bolts from the rear door hinge attached to the door before proceeding to detach the bolts (1-5) from the bodyside rear door hinge followed by taking out the rear door hinge from your vehicle. First position the rear door hinge using alignment marks and fasten bolts (1-5) to the bodyside rear door hinge while tightening them to 33 N.m (24 lb ft). Adjust the bolts on the doorside rear door hinge before securing them with the same torque value as measured on the previous hinge. Check the rear door alignment before finally closing it down for inspection.
