Detach both the rear window from its spot on the carrier plate alongside the electrical connector from the motor. The rear window regulator motor should be disassembled from the rail through the rear access hole by loosening its bolts. Next, lift the regulator up using its key slots on the rear door inner panel and pull it through the hole. Begin by inserting the bolts of the rear window regulator into its corresponding parts halfway before placing the rail through the rear access hole first and then the motor. Drive the rear window regulator into its designated slots before torquing both rear window regulator motor and rail bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Center the rear window on the carrier plate after removing tape then fasten the electrical connector to the motor. The last step involves putting back the rear door water deflector together with the rear door trim panel.
