You should start by setting the front door window at a 6.3 mm (1/4 in) distance from the top before taping it to the window frame for Impala rear side door window regulator replacement. Start by removing the rear door trim panel together with the rear door water deflector. Restate the procedure by disconnecting the rear window from its position on the rear window regulator carrier plate as well as unconnecting the electrical connector from the rear window regulator motor. Remove the rear window regulator through the rear access hole by lifting it up and out from key slots on the rear door inner panel after loosening the bolts on the rear window regulator motor and the rear window regulator rail.
