A: Begin by turning off the supplemental inflatable restraints (SIR) before starting your repair. Start by taking off the Steering Column trim before you unscrew the mounting screw from the multifunction switch. Then remove the multifunction switch from its slot in the column. Remove the electrical connections that are attached to the multifunction switch. Insert electrical connectors to the multifunction switch parts and put it on the Steering Column muzzle by pressing down on the spring-loaded horn button.
