How to replace the Idle Control Valve on 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

In order to change the Idle Control Valve, switch-off the ignition and unplug the valve. Loose the retaining screws and remove the valve with O-ring. Make sure that the pintle is not in the extended position; squeeze it in place. Install new O-ring, fit valve, connect electrical connector and reset PCM.
