  A: Begin Throttle Body service and repair by first turning off ignition power then draining engine coolant. First disconnect three components: the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector followed by the breather tube from the air intake tube until you can remove the air intake tube. Service of the Throttle Body starts by disconnecting four components: idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector, and throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector together with accelerator controls cable from the throttle lever and accelerator cable bracket. First disconnect the throttle lever then separate the cruise control cable from both the throttle lever and the accelerator bracket before removing the accelerator control cable bracket. First disconnect both Throttle Body coolant bypass hoses and heater pipe nut at the Throttle Body and then unwire the nuts and bolts to remove the Throttle Body assembly from the Intake Manifold. Mount the air intake tube then rewire the iat sensor electrical connection and join the breather tube with the air intake tube. Complete the engine coolant refill process then verify throttle smoothness as it moves between closed and wide open positions while testing for complete opening and closing nozzle motions through accelerator pedal operation and verifying proper accelerator pedal placement underneath its mesh.
