  A: Remove the negative Battery Cable and secure the vehicle before working on it. To replace the Starter motor pg260 f1, first disconnect such cable and lift the vehicle securely. Take out the lower air deflector and the torque converter covers. The Starter solenoid bat terminal nut and the positive Battery Cable needs to be disconnected, then the Starter solenoid s terminal nut and the Starter solenoid wire must be disconnected. Then, remove the Starter bolts (1,2), and take out the Starter motor while making sure to remove any shims, if needed. On installing the new pg260 f1 Starter motor, align it with the engine and replace any shims that had been taken off. Install the Starter bolts (1, 2), finger take tight until seated and then up to 43 n.m (32 lb ft).
